2. About this privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to the notification applications Sensio Pocket and Sensio Pocket 365 (hereinafter referred to as the «Application»). Sensio AS (Stenersgata 1A, 0050 Oslo) by the general manager has the day-to-day responsibility for the processing of personal data related to the Application.

3. Purpose for processing personal data

The collected information is used to:

  • Be able to offer secure login to the Application
  • Able to receive correct alarms according to role and availability in the Application
  • Be able to convey the phone’s location (location data) to calculate the nearest recipients for an alarm
  • Be able to convey the phone’s phone number to get in touch with colleagues and patients if necessary
  • Be able to provide support in those cases where you may need our assistance through customer support

Collection of the information is required for us to be able to provide the service. If you do not agree to us storing your user information, we cannot offer to use the Application.

4. Legal basis for processing personal data

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the individual’s consent (Cf. Act on the processing of personal data §8, and cf. Article 6 §1c) of the new data protection regulation of 25 May 2018) unless otherwise specified.

5. What personal data is processed?

Personal information about you that is stored in the Application is name, e-mail address, telephone number, role, registered visits, EPR records (not content, only that it has been sent), and audit logging in the system.

Location data is stored temporarily to calculate the distance from an alarm transmitter, if the function for alarm routing to the nearest alarm receivers is activated.

6. Collection of personal data

Consent is obtained when registering a user, or as part of an employment contract (obtained by the data controller). Technical operating data is collected on an ongoing basis.

7. Processing of personal data

The information will not be used for anything other than operation of the solution, troubleshooting and customer service, and will only be disclosed to third parties if there is an explicit agreement with the municipality in connection with:

  1. Reception of alarms in a 3rd party alarm reception/response centre
  2. Integration of event/patient/employee data with the EPR provider in the municipality

Sensio AS is the data processor for personal data stored in our solutions. Our systems are hosted by Microsoft Azure and the information is stored on separate servers operated by the supplier. The information is only stored as long as you use our solutions, or until consent is withdrawn. The information is deleted from the backup after 90 days.

8. Registrant’s rights

As registered in Sensio AS systems, you have rights according to the Norwegian Act, the Act on the processing of personal data and associated regulations. As a registered user, you have the right to access your own personal data, to request the correction or deletion of incomplete or incorrect information, as well as to delete all personal data from our systems.
